- This unusual feature makes little Shakiba unable to walk normally and often falls when running.
Shakiba, a 2-year-old girl in Bangladesh, was born with a small tumor on her right arm. However, as the tumor grew older, it gradually became larger and spread to part of the chest. Currently, my entire right arm is unusually large, weighing nearly 30kg.
The inconvenience of her giant arms made it difficult for Shakiba to walk normally, and once even fell because she couldn’t support her arms while running. Because of this difference, Shakiba was feared and shunned by many people in the village.
The girl’s father, Abdul Sattar, 23 years old, who cannot treat his daughter, said sadly: ” We trust God and the doctors. We hope the doctors will find a way to treat her.” my daughter and give her a happier, more meaningful life .”
This difference makes Shakiba shunned by many people in the village.
And her mother, Shakiba Chabina Begum, 21, confided: ” She longed to play normally with the children in the village but people were worried that the disease could spread to their children so they don’t let the children play with Shakiba. It hurts me to see people discriminating against her like that.
She was unable to sit or walk normally. Every time I try to take a few steps I fall down. She has no one to play with and can’t walk, so she only knows how to be friends with her cell phone all day long. We feel very sad about this and worry about our child. We know that your child is also sad because of his illness. I wish there was some medicine that could help me .”
Her parents just wish she would recover from her illness and have a normal life like other children.
Even though he borrowed money from everywhere and sold all the furniture in the house to pay for Shakiba’s treatment, the disease still did not progress in a good direction.
Dr. Shamim Hossain, a doctor at the district hospital, said: ” We are trying our best to find a cure for her, even forming a team of three doctors to do in-depth research on this. . This seems to be a case of hemangioma, but we cannot confirm it yet.”
Currently, Shakiba’s condition is getting worse.
